GUEST DESIGNER, VIRGINIA LU

We are thrilled to introduce you to Virginia Lu. Many of you may know Virginia as she’s an accomplished card maker. We asked Virginia to work with some of our stamps and she graciously agreed to be a Guest on our Blog today. Welcome, Virginia!

Hi, I’m Virginia Lu from Canada. I’m blessed with two wonderful children and a loving and supportive husband. In my little world, I help manage my hubby’s medical office. When NOT working, I love creating cards and making yummy food. I fell in love with stamping and card-making over 16 years ago. However, I only became active and passionate about my hobby in Fall 2008. I haven’t stopped since! I love working with all kinds of stamps, inks, digital images, embellishments and stickers! My favorite style is leaning toward Clean and Simple. I like to add a “wow” factor to my cards as it gives the receivers a lasting impression and a sense of delight and charm. Currently I design for SRM Stickers and CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog. You can also find my work in the upcoming Paper Crafts Magazine (A Card a Day 2012 and Jan/Feb 2012 issue).

My experience with Penny Black Stamps has been most positive! PB Stamps are so versatile. The images range from classy, stylish, fun and whimsical. Any stamper can easily find a stamp that suits their personal style and need. I also love the Mix and Match Paper. This heavy-duty cardstock is top-notch in terms of colors and thickness. It’s perfect for distressing and layering. I’d like to thank Penny Black for inviting me to share my work here. It is such a tremendous honor. I hope to continue to share the love of stamping in Penny Circle.
