How/when did you begin stamping? I first fell in love with Hedgie and Friends at the end of 2010 and started stamping.

What is your favorite technique/style? Distressing and coloring – I’m a very colorful person.

Which Penny Black product are you most drawn to? I’m more into cute images and Penny Black has them all!

What do you do when you’re in a stamping ‘slump’? I will go blog browsing, read magazines, or visit Pinterest because they have so many inspiring and beautiful projects. (You can visit Cathy’s Pinterest Boards HERE.)

How would you describe your craft space in three words? Happy creative place.

What would be your advice to beginner stampers? Get a couple of good clear stamp sets and an acrylic block to start with. Clear stamps have so many images and coordinating sentiments, and they are easy to position on the card. Choose a universal theme that works for many occasions.

Do you have any questions for our readers? What kind of inspiration do you like most? Layout or color techniques?

SUPPLIES: Hello Winter, Mimi Winter Friends, and Mix and Match cardstock.

Cathy’s love of colour is evident in her creations which are great fun. Her style is very individual & she adds to breadth of the design team as a whole. Not only that but she demonstrates how fun & versatile the Penny Black stamps are.
