Penny Black presents CUTE to ELEGANT – Day 1

November 26, 2012

Penny Black has something for everyone, from cute to elegant! This week Penny Black designer Jill Foster will be sharing cute card samples which in turn inspired elegant samples. To leave you even more inspired, we’ll also have a simple sketch for both cards!

Let’s get started, shall we? Here’s today’s CUTE card. Mimi and her reindeer friend are dreaming of a white Christmas! They were both colored with Copic markers and then layered onto a snowy background created by punched snowflakes adhered with dimensional foam to a Spellbinders circle die.

    Can’t wait to try that technique. Wonder what would work if you don’t have the Faber Castell big white pen?? I’m at least 1 1/2 hours from a stamping/scrapbook store! to answer the question…..I like a simple look to my cards (not necessarily easy techniques) and whimsical more than overly fancy/elegant!
