Penny Black has something for everyone, from cute to elegant! This week Penny Black designer Jill Foster will be sharing cute card samples which in turn inspired elegant samples. To leave you even more inspired, we’ll also have a simple sketch for both cards!

    I sat looking at these & was just astonished by the way the stamped detail of the poinsettia leaves is picked up by the chevrons on the ribbon & on the cute card that ribbon echoes the spokes of the snowflakes in the background. So enjoying this series – thank you again for all the hard work required to bring these to us.

    Love that background stamp, and the beautiful flower stamp is amazing! packs a lot of “punch” on this card! I don’t own the pumice stone distress ink….this video has now convinced me to get it! thanks~~~

    Just love Jill’s tutorials…she does a fabulous job teaching us all her techniques!!! Polar Mimi is so darn cute, my grandkids would love that image for their christmas card. However, both cards are so creative and inspiring. Ahhh such wonderful talent!

    The poinsettia is spectaular. I love the way its cut off center. The lines in the stamp match so well with the ribbon and the coloring technique is easy. loved them both.

    Both cards are really nice but I love the more elegant one the best. I love your attention to detail such as inking the edges and all the little added touches, such as the twine around the ribbon.
