I sat looking at these & was just astonished by the way the stamped detail of the poinsettia leaves is picked up by the chevrons on the ribbon & on the cute card that ribbon echoes the spokes of the snowflakes in the background. So enjoying this series – thank you again for all the hard work required to bring these to us.

The poinsettia is spectaular. I love the way its cut off center. The lines in the stamp match so well with the ribbon and the coloring technique is easy. loved them both.
Love the tutorials you are posting this week and the ideas I’m getting. I took a Penny Black Christmas class at my LSS this afternoon and you’ll be happy to know I now own 5 more Penny Black stamps. I might have to return tomorrow and pick up a couple more 🙂

Both cards are really nice but I love the more elegant one the best. I love your attention to detail such as inking the edges and all the little added touches, such as the twine around the ribbon.
