To begin, here’s a little bit more about Wida…

Hi I am Wida Miller, a little short, a little analytical, and a little bit a lover of nutella. I am so excited to be guesting with Penny Black today. I enjoy Penny Black because their designs have an elegance to them that fits with my style which can be described as fresh and edgy. They also have something for everybody’s design aesthetic…cute, funny, whatever your love, Penny Black has it covered. And with the new dies coming out…well fogettaboutit!

Check out this first card by Wida using 40-205 Blissful and 40-194 Let’s Go Wild:

What are YOU stamping this weekend? Why not try some clean and simple stamping using Wida’s work as inspiration.  Here’s a fun tip from Wida herself based on this card, “make a card set by embossing the background stamp in different colors and using different sentiments.”  Sounds like fun!  And speaking of fun, we’d love to see what you create, too. Upload your cards to our Penny Circle Flickr Gallery and/or our Facebook page.

Now it wouldn’t be an extravaganza if we were just posting one card today, would it?  Join us back here on the blog a little bit later today for MORE posts and MORE inspiration from Wida!

The borders make the central stamp shine. So often I cover up my background stamps instead of letting these pretty designs take center stage. Another beautiful card!
