Spooktacular Guest Designer: Jean Manis

October 4, 2013

We are thrilled to announce that this week have a VERY special guest with us sharing cards and projects using our 2013 Halloween collection—the talented Jean Manis! You can view the entire collection HERE.

Jean has a special treat for us today… a switch from Halloween and a look ahead to Thanksgiving! Just look what she’s done with our Slapstick/Cling stamp 40-242 Autumnal Wreath.

40-242

The heat-embossed wreath was colored with Distress Inks using a watercolor brush.  Jean then applied Glossy Accents to the apples to add a bit of texture. The background was stamped with 40-254 Decadence for a tone-on-tone effect. The sentiment from 30-138 Foliage Fancy was heat-embossed and added to the card with twine.

Jean, we just can’t thank you enough for sharing your simply AMAZING talent with us this week.  You’ve brought our Halloween 2013 stamps to life!

I love the tone on tone stamped background & the Distress Inks colouring with the attention to textures – very seasonal for both Christmas & Harvest.

I enjoy these daily emails, but really miss the weekly PB&J classes. Seeing demos of techniques is what motivates me. Are the PB&J classes ever returning?? Thanks! Date: Fri, 4 Oct 2013 07:03:56 +0000 To: aia1950@hotmail.com

Jean’s card is absolutely STUNNING! I love how she water-colored the details of her wreath…such beautiful autumn colors and those shiny apples are perfect! I love the sentiment, too!
