Spooky Sequel: Day 3

October 29, 2014

There’s still time to create spooktacular paper crafts before Halloween arrives on Friday… and because we loved last year’s guest designer Jean Manis’ Halloween inspiration so much, we’ve invited her back this week for a spooky sequel. Join us for 5 days of “eek,” “boo,” and stamping fun! (And if you missed this event last year, you can check it out here: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5.)

Today Jean has created an eye-catching scene using our Creative Die set, 51-073 Haunted Hollow.

By cutting her house and fence from lighter cardstock, and layering the tree and hill in front in darker black cardstock, Jean has achieved depth and dimension on her card. What a fabulous technique for Creative Dies, no matter what the scene or season!

This is fantastic! I love the depth you got from using that lighter color for the house/fence and the shading is wonderful!
