PB&J Monday with Jill Foster

August 8, 2011
by

We are so excited to bring our new Christmas 2011 collection to you over the next four weeks. We’ll be showcasing our holiday nature stamps, elegant collage stamps, brand new fashion girls, and of course Christmas Mimi stamps. It’s going to be inspiration overload as the Penny Black Designers are here every weekday with their takes on each week’s theme. Please note that Halloween and Christmas 2011 stamps will ship at the end of August.

We’re launching our special feature with a video tutorial by Jill Foster as part of our PB&J (Penny Black & Jill!) series every Monday here at the Blog. This week’s theme is nature, and here’s a pair of poloroid-inspired greeting cards by Jill;

    I really like these cards. I looked in the blog post and didn’t find the list of Copic colors that the video said would be there. I hope I didn’t miss them… and really don’t want to spend the time to watch the video over again to get them. But, the cards are lovely anyway.

    Both are beautful nature cards, thanks for the in depth video, it was great to see you use the copics and list the numbers as you were colouring and shading.

    Superb seeing this done – those Distress Stains give such a superb texture & I love the look of the Polaroid photo. The stamps are so detailed & realistic – the reindeer quite stunning. Thanks for going into such detail with this.
