Floral Card by Kathy
April 11, 2012
Kathy Racoosin is sharing a beautiful and vibrant card she created using one of our floral stamps. She altered the flowers to make them smaller and fuller for her card;
Kathy started by stamping and coloring two flowers;
Kathy then trimmed the petals to adjust them for fullness and layering, and assembled the flowers;

How do you trim,layer, etc. . .to get this affect? Is there a tutorial or video that shows this technique? I LOVE the look but have no idea how to create it. Thanks!
Hi Scrapgirl, Basically all you do is cut the flower petals off and glue or tape them on the back of your flowers center. On my blog I have a mini tutorial. You can email me at kathyrac@mac.com if you have more questions. π

Beautiful card Kathy!
Fabulous idea, kathy – I would never have thought of that – will definitely look at my flower stamps in a different light now – amazing colouring too π
Delightful gradation of colours & I love the touch of aqua & the contrast provided by the brown. A real lesson in colour theory!
