Kathy Racoosin is sharing a beautiful and vibrant card she created using one of our floral stamps. She altered the flowers to make them smaller and fuller for her card;

Kathy started by stamping and coloring two flowers;

Kathy then trimmed the petals to adjust them for fullness and layering, and assembled the flowers;

SUPPLIES: sunburst Product No: 4236K, breezy Product No: 40-111, gratitude Product No: 30-105, flower festival Product No: 30-095, a little bird…Product No: 30-102, VersaMagic, Aquatic Splash, Turquoise Gem, Purple Hydrangea, Spellbinders Grand Labels 1, Copic markers, white gel pen.

    How do you trim,layer, etc. . .to get this affect? Is there a tutorial or video that shows this technique? I LOVE the look but have no idea how to create it. Thanks!

    Fabulous idea, kathy – I would never have thought of that – will definitely look at my flower stamps in a different light now – amazing colouring too πŸ™‚

    Delightful gradation of colours & I love the touch of aqua & the contrast provided by the brown. A real lesson in colour theory!
