On a card panel, Therese die cut “kisses” – using the negative cut.  She then stamped the mice image under the negative die cut.  The image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  Glossy Accents were added to the heart.  On a separate piece of cardstock, Therese brushed 3 strips of watercolor (using Distress Ink as the medium) matching the flower bouquet. She then taped it behind the negative die cut – adjusting how she wanted the color to peek through.  Carefully, she glued the small negative pieces of the die cut back on the card panel.  A touch of patterned paper for the background, and Therese’s design is complete!

Before you go… what did you think of yesterday’s sneak peeks on Instagram? We love sharing with you!

Love the technique of using the negative die cut. And it adds so much to put the colors behind it … This is over the top cute and makes me smile big!!

Oh, and I am loving the sneak peeks .. how fun to “meet” Elizabeth and Cathy! Keep the photos coming, please.

I thought I could spy Cathy & Elizabeth in one of those photos………
As for Therese’s card – some very neat colour matching with that, when first I glanced at it I thought the ‘Kisses’ was die-cut from the same paper as the background, then that the patterned paper was peeking through the negative die-cut….. but this is even more effective. It looks so good with the mice different colours too.
