Collaboration with Inchie Arts: Day 6

November 22, 2014

This week we are thrilled to be collaborating with Inchie Arts featuring their awesome Art Squares! What are Art Squares, you ask? They are the perfect surface for stamping and coloring. Art Squares are made from the highest quality, artist grade, precision cut matboard. The material is unique because it behaves like watercolor paper, enabling papercrafters to use a variety of both wet and dry coloring mediums (including paints, inks, stains, markers, colored pencils, etc.) without surface deterioration. Check out all of the sizes and colors of Art Squares on the Inchie Arts website.

Day 6 of our collaboration with Inchie Arts brings to us a special guest… Judy Jung, AKA the talented Mrs. Runs with Scissors! Judy made three cards for us today, each using different sections of our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-339 Winter Song.

40-339

1

Judy inked the surface of her stamp with VersaMark Ink and then pressed a 3 inch Art Square face down onto the selected stamp area. After heat embossing, she then added Distress Inks for a light and magical background.

2

By repeating this process, each time placing a new Art Square on a different part of the stamp, a variety of scenes were created.

3

A little extra embellishing with Creative Die, 51-080 Around Town, completes the scenes with frosty style.
