Designer Inspiration with Cathy: Day 1

As the temps outside begin to rise, here on the blog we are also heating up with designer inspiration! Over the next several weeks our designers will be bringing you inspiration and design ideas featuring their trademark styles and products from our new collection, Sunshine and Smiles. This week Cathy Andronicou joins us with her elegant designs!

When you combine our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-377 Trumpet Song, with bright colors and Cathy’s lovely layers, you’re sure to have an elegant card.

To create this hand painted look, Cathy colored directly onto the stamp with markers, misted with water, and stamped onto watercolor paper. She then dampened a paintbrush and blended the colors together by painting directly onto the image stamped on paper.
