Birgit Edblom’s unique stamping and die-cutting always leaves us inspired. So this week we welcome her to the blog as she spotlights several products from our new release, Artistic Endeavors!

It’s as if we’ve walked into Birgit’s garden today. First she’s “planted” our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-469 Hydrangea.

40-469

This stamp is not just for art journaling. The large bloom looks great on a card, too.

Next, Birgit works her magic with 40-466 Flower Cascade.

40-466

Birgit turned the image and positioned it in the lower left hand corner of her card, leaving eye-pleasing white space on the top right hand corner of her card and plenty of room for an elegant stamped sentiment (30-350 Sentiment Collection).

If you enjoyed Birgit’s fresh flowers today, you will certainly love her card tomorrow. It has flowers AND fur…

Just wonderful. What kind of textured paper for the hydrangea?

Thank you Ellen! The hydragea is stamped to watercolor paper and the rest of the card is cardstock from Paper Accent.

I have just come across this on Pinterest and love it. Would you please tell me what cardstock you use? I love the crosshatch/linen look effect. And it is so very white, which makes me think, not watercolour card but something that likes watercolour?
