Our elegant stamps and Creative Dies are a great match for so many styles.  Join our designers this week as they stretch their creative boundaries and create one layer cards! We’d love to see your one layer cards, too!  Upload your Penny Black creations to our Penny Circle Flickr Gallery and/or our Facebook page.

One-layer creations lend themselves to clean and simple designs, like today’s card by Elizabeth.

This did make me do just that – Smile! It’s your placing that caught my eye & I do like the way the eye goes straight from the white of ‘smile’ to the black of the little sentiment below. The placing of the coloured panel to balance the little sentiment made me think for the balance is lovely. Less is definitely more & thanks for the idea of die-cutting masking tape – hadn’t thought of that at all.
