Collaboration with Inchie Arts: Day 5

November 21, 2014

This week we are thrilled to be collaborating with Inchie Arts featuring their awesome Art Squares! What are Art Squares, you ask? They are the perfect surface for stamping and coloring. Art Squares are made from the highest quality, artist grade, precision cut matboard. The material is unique because it behaves like watercolor paper, enabling papercrafters to use a variety of both wet and dry coloring mediums (including paints, inks, stains, markers, colored pencils, etc.) without surface deterioration. Check out all of the sizes and colors of Art Squares on the Inchie Arts website.

Heather used 1.5” white Art Squares to create a mosiac design on her holiday décor door hanger.

To stamp her winter scene, Heather reached for the whimsical Christmas village from our transparent set, 30-266 Gleeful.

30-266

She placed her Art Squares in a 2 x 3 array on masking paper to hold them together while stamping and painting with watercolor pencils.

To assemble her mosaic, she removed the Art Squares from the masking paper and attached them to dark green cardstock, leaving a small margin between the Art Squares. What a unique way to stamp a scene. This would look fabulous on a card, too!
