Collaboration with Inchie Arts: Day 4

November 20, 2014

This week we are thrilled to be collaborating with Inchie Arts featuring their awesome Art Squares! What are Art Squares, you ask? They are the perfect surface for stamping and coloring. Art Squares are made from the highest quality, artist grade, precision cut matboard. The material is unique because it behaves like watercolor paper, enabling papercrafters to use a variety of both wet and dry coloring mediums (including paints, inks, stains, markers, colored pencils, etc.) without surface deterioration. Check out all of the sizes and colors of Art Squares on the Inchie Arts website.

Therese’s card demonstrates how simply turning a white ATC sized Art Square to a horizontal orientation can make the perfect little canvas for any card.

Therese added layers of watercolor upon her Art Square to paint her sky. And by simply stamping, 40-340 Etched Branches, her scene was complete.

40-340

Oh, and that subtle texture behind her Art Square…Therese created that by scoring a strip of white cardstock before adhering it to her cardbase. It’s a subtle touch that gives this clean and simple card a finished look.
