Birthday Hoopla with Peet

It’s time for a poetic party and you’re invited! This week join Peet Roeven as she explores the range of possibilities available with our newest collection, Poetic.

When Peet is getting crafty, the results are nothing short of amazing, just take a peek at today’s birthday creation.

Peet has featured our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-522 Birthday Hoopla, demonstrating how easy it is to achieve a complete design with just one stamp.

She began by creating her background with Distress Oxide ink misted with water.

Next she stamped 40-522 Birthday Hoopla in Versamark ink, sprinkled with black embossing powder, and heat to set.

To take her design to the next level, she added hand stitching and embellished the top and bottom of her card with our Creative Die, 51-322 Vine Borders.

For added dimension, she stamped and fussy cut extra butterfly wings and adhered them with dimensional adhesive.

And finally a sprinkling of sequins is the perfect finishing touch!
