Designer Inspiration: Heather

May 17, 2013

Hot Rod! is a favorite from our recent Life’s Messages collection.  Heather brings us two unique ways to get the most from this incredible stamp.

On this first sample, Heather stamped and embossed 40-224 Hot Rod! on panels of Mix and Match Cardstock in Grand Canyon and Olive Grove colors.

And on her next card, Heather kept things clean and simple, stamping 40-224 Hot Rod! with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and sponging a color strip featuring a 40-110 Damask Pattern detail.

It’s the second one that catches my imagination – the clean lines of the whole design is definitely masculine & with the image very classy.

The card with the strips of complimentary cardstock is so unique! I think I will have to try that technique..it really has the ‘wow’ factor!!

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However just imagine if you added some great pictures or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its field. Fantastic blog!
